Guthrie CiderWorks

Guthrie CiderWorks is owned and operated by the Devoto Family, which has its roots in Argentina and England. Guthrie is a family name from the British side of the family, and is our company name as a tribute to British-style cider. In England and other parts of Europe, there is a long tradition of making dry cider – a style of cider that is difficult to find in the U.S. Guthrie CiderWorks is proud to bring the tradition of dry cider-making to Southern California.

The Guthrie approach is to use from 100% West Coast apples pressed at the source, paying particular attention to how different yeasts affect the finished product. Guthrie uses low-temperature fermentation, yeast hulls, yeast nutrients and high tannins to create high-quality, great-tasting products. Guthrie CiderWorks produces only dry and semi-dry ciders.
